If you've ever visited any Disney resorts, or have even just visited the parks, you have probably noticed the wonderful scents! Disney definitely recognizes the impact that fragrances have on experiences and memories.
No detail goes overlooked by Disney when it comes to creating atmosphere. Each resort has its own "feel". The architecture, design, lighting, and even cast member uniforms help to create the guest experience. Unique fragrances especially enhance the experience of being there. Some resorts have an ocean air scent; others are more floral, fruity or woodsy. The one thing they all have in common though; they perfectly match their settings.
For the longest time I tried, with no luck, to find similar fragrances for use in my own home. I wanted my home to be a joy to visit, for guests to feel as welcome and at home as I do when I visit these resorts. Short of purchasing a whole home air purifier and scent diffuser, which let's be honest- not many of us are able to do, I couldn't find anything that closely mimicked my favorite resort's scent.

I prefer the wax melts, but these fragrances are also offered as diffuser oils, soaps and candles!
Why do I prefer the wax melts? I like the simplicity of the wax melts. I can put a few squares of wax in and not have to think about it for a while. I use the wax warmers that plug in (like the one below) and just flip it on in the morning and off if I leave the house and at bed time. I've used the diffuser oils and they're great too, you just have to remember to add oil and water more often.
Note that the wax does get fairly hot, so if you have children in the house I would go the diffuser route or make sure that the wax warmer is well away from children's reach.
